2v2 Pro + Joe Tourney

I've spent the last couple days trying to think of a tournament Idea,
I was thinking of a 2v2 tourney, where one person is a pro (1600-1700+ish) And one player is a Joe (900-1400-ish)
This wouldn't be anytime soon, just curious what people think of the idea.

Think this could also descend in to joe snipes the pro tourney, although it could still be good. I thought the teacher tournament was a really good idea, I couldn't play in it though. If the shared armies mod gets sorted out I think a pro+joe tournament with that would be great.

That could be an interesting aspect of the tourney, imo thatd be a valid strategy for teams to use, It'd be up to the opposing team to make sure it doesnt happen to their pro!

Maybe I'll put together a 1v1 co op tourney down the road, that could be very fun

A lot of top tier players, particularly the team game players, don't like playing with noobs anyway due to how often they can lose a game when they've outplayed their opponent (silly attitude but it is what it is). You might find it interesting to add a dynamic of noobs trying to snipe or draw pros but they might just not sign up shared armies would be a lot better imo.

That said the pros in my clan would probably do this, they know how to deal with cheesey noobs

When a top tier player play, and see his ally doing mistake, he obviously has right to not like that.

I want a shared army tourney to be set up so badly. But maybe only top level vs top level player. because when you play with a lower rated player, the team level will be lower than if the top player would have play alone.
I think shared army with a """"noob"""" player will only increase (x1000) better player rage. => Cancelling order, fucking up eco (launching tons of mexx to T2), bad micro; cancelling order is really the worst thing

It would be nice to have another tourney where a joe and pro are in skype while the joes are playing the game vs each other. We had such a tourney and it was successful. Then you avoid the problem of giving all eco to the pro etc.
