Game Preferences Won't Save

Hi, i've trolled the forums but can't find a fix for this problem. When i change ingame settings such as video resolution, scroll speed etc, they never seem to stick. Next time i load the game, everything is back to default. Resolution 1024 x 768, scroll speed 50, etc.

I have tried manually editing and saving Game.prefs but the game just immediately changes it back to default. If i make Game.prefs read only it just creates a new file.

Any help much appreciated, its a pain to have to go through changing all my settings every game!

Maybe you don't have a profile set up? Run the game from start menu (not via faf), it will prompt to create a profile... now settings will stick.

Otherwise, I don't know, check permissions on game.prefs.

Otherwise post logs because real tech support people will ignore you if you don't.
