Ground Texture Glitch

I've run into a ground texture glitch that is rather annoying. Whenever I help build a seraphim building with the cybran hive it changes the ground under the building into this black and red terrain texture. Anyone else have this problem?

I've managed to track down what I believe is the culprit for this glitch. Well not in code, but what unit is causing it. The tech 1 seraphim engineer has something to do with it as the effect doesn't trigger with other seraphim units. If a tech 1 engineer starts building and the hive helps it it causes the glitch. I believe its because the hive doesn't check the terrain tarmac when assisting like other units do. This is just speculation though and doesn't explain why it only happens with seraphim units. Hope this helps.

A similar thing happens to me when I build tech 2 and 3 shield gens as UEF I get a big red and black box replacing the normal concrete floor

The problem occures when a unit that's designated with a Tarmac can't find its texture. What is also known is that some units / structures "FlatenSkirt" when there is no need for them to have it. Obviously this can lead to the issues described above and can even bug the campaign missions in some circumstances.

Please be aware that the log would show an error each time the unit in question attempted to use the texture. Those log entries will indicate both the unit ID and the texture path for the offending Tarmac. After that any of the following would "fix" the issue.

1) correcting the pathing to the file.

2) adding the texture if it is missing.

3) removing units info that's requesting the texture in the first place.
