Game hangs, sound stays

A couple of times now I got a game crash after about 5-10 mins. The game just hangs, I can't do anything (including zooming in and out) but I can hear the sound of the game still going (and is accurate as I saw in my replay). Can anyone confirm if this is a just a graphical issue (drivers, etc.) I have or not (I don't seem to have this problem in replays)?

[EDIT] For future reference: it was solved with a driver update.
