Lobby issues.

While the FAF lobby is open, my entire computer seems retarded. Multitasking is a pain (not even in game mind you) and forget watching videos. Anyway the lock ups (programs stop responding) seems to happen consistently every 10-15 minutes especially when im using my browser or watching something on the side. The rest of the time there is a stuttery lag when watching videos. Closing FAF seems to end the problem

It confuses me because i didn't think the chat used that much memory/cpu.

My computer is by no means a top tier computer but it runs SCFA with no issues, maybe a slight lag during cut-scenes. But this is the lobby we are talking about.

There seem to be large sections where your FAF gets a ping command from the server. If I check my own log there are no ping commands at all, even after hosting a game. I'm not sure if that explains your issue or why you are getting so many pings.

P.S i know my graphics card is shit, please dont rub it in my face i'm about tired of the community picking fun at me. I'm jobless so i cant afford to go out and buy one of those super GFX card or processors.

Edit: Sorry for the rant. I've asked poeple tech support questions before (in chat) they gave me the run down of things to trouble shoot (for different issues) and in the end all i got was "upgrade that worthless shit." So thank you for your response and again sorry.

Can you post a full dxdiag, just to make sure nothing's getting overlooked?

Do you only experience this issue with FAF? What kind of internet connection do you have in terms of up/down?

I don't think it's the ping commands; these are normal and are used to keep the connection alive.

I've had issues on win8 myself, so I'll keep this in mind. But it's hard to get a good idea without access to your system or better logs :/

Hmm well I didn't notice any ping commands in my logs which is why I made the assumption there shouldn't be so many.
