Name change

Hi all,

I changed my name a few days ago by mistake, but it seems I can't get my old name back.
I would greatly appreciate if an administrator could help me with that.

I'm now known as "broutouze", could someone please change it to my old name "v_k" back?

As a side note, Parp doesn't like my new name

Hi all, thanks for helping.

Unfortunately it's been a week now I've changed my name (20th October, 2014) but I'm still not able to get my old name back. I'm getting the "This name has already been taken" error message.

Obviously there is currently no one with my old name (I've checked its history and it shows "There is no user with name v_k"). Any idea ?

Have you tried to check if there is a user with the name V_k or v_K ?

Because (not 100% sure), for example :
If there is a user with the name odiN, and I check if there is a user with the name "Odin", it will say "no user with that name", then I'll rename and it will say "already taken" because there is a user with the name odiN .

If I set the name "v_k", "V_k", "V_K" or "v_K" without specifying a password on the user name utilities webpage, it always shows me the message:

There is no user with name v_K [or v_k, or V_k, or V_K].

Also, this name was previously used by following players:
broutouze

It's obviously not currently used but I'm not able to get it back

When I check :
V_k didn't change his name.

There is someone with this name.

There was a problem with the renaming script -- it would find users that it shouldn't have and report these as having your new name.

I've just tried it again and this time I successfully managed to get my old name back!
