I can't find all Mods

I have a problem a friend of mine can find mods in the vault that i can't.
I tried everything from the FA version up to the ports and i can't get them.
and also we have the same PC and he used my internet at home so i really dont understand why i dont have them.
as an example the ui mod Dodger i cant find the mod if i search for it but my friend can and i can accses the link if i use the browser and the mod works after i manually downloaded it and put it into the mods folder.
i cant post the logs here because there are non the problem is i just cant see them.
if there are any known fixes to one of the problems pls tell me.

The search is a bit touchy. To find Dodger, start typing the name into the search field. You will notice after entering a few letters the vault selection clears out. Now hit the server search button and you will start seeing it. The issue is that the vault window only displays 100 items at a time, so when you start typing it is searching only within that 100 items. By clicking on server search you force it to query its entire database.

This makes sense from a database management point of view. The first list that pops up when you first open the vault is the mods listed by rating and showing the top 100. Since this is the most popular there is a pretty good chance your mod is there, so that is 1 query. Now you start entering text and it looks through that list of 100, which is a quick query.

When you click on the server search button, now it goes through its entire database (think about this as many people doing this) which can place a burden on the server.

So to summarize, it is done this way to reduce the load on the server.

As an example, to see the latest mods in the vault (that is the last 100 uploaded), open the mod vault, select upload date from the pull down menu, and with no text in the search field, hit server search. As you go through these steps, you will see the server working through each process and notice on the last step it takes a bit of time.

thx that helped never thought of that but how does my fiend see them from the start and not me
