User account banned for spam on first message ?

Hi,

I'm writing on behalf of one of my friends who recently wanted to register on this very forum and got banned before he could even write his first message. Surely something wrong happened but he can't get any support since he can't post on this forum and never got any reply from the mail he sent to the board admin.

Here is basically his request:

I'm guessing he created the account over a week ago but less than a month ago? Is that correct?

If you don't post in the first week after creating the account is disabled and is deleted after 30 days. Once the account has been deleted he can remake it or he can make an account with a different name.

Just to complete the answer in case it happen to another FAF user.
Yes it was the fact that I didn't post just after creating my account (I never do on any forum, I like to watch, read and then waiting to have something to say before participating)
So new user will have to know that they have to post right after creation before a period of one week.
Or be blocked for one month (I do not understand why the account is not un-baned or at least deleted quickly)
Also the "contact and admin" in the error message is not very helpful as it does not give any email or nickname on FAF irc of the admin to contact.

Maybe all of this is written somewhere, anyway it is now, here.
