No idea why. I have avira installed and never had this issue before.

asuming that link is your AV's threat info service on websites (e.g. you got redirected to a sketchy site) then it sounds like to me what is happening is you have a browser redirect virus. if your browse around and do random google searches (clicking on the results) and you get redirected to something iffy, that is very likely the case.
