This guy blindcountered me because he watched my replays(( should try to play more standard on tournaments i guess xD but ggwp to him anyway he did well

I think it is a normal think playing second air with cybran on maps like this.

Nah it most definitely isn't the standard (especially with an assisted jester variation) and the guy said after the game that he had looked at my previous games as well so I got my confirmation there. I could further analyze the openings, but I'd rather not start a discussion about it here especially since it would seem like whining of a sore loser :) He simply abused the fact that I like to open with the same gambit every time on theta, good for him.

On theta you can also make a land scout after lets say 3 engies. Then you can usually spot their second airfac or second landfac. Safer option than blindcountering ^^

Yes, early scouts are underrated, you can sometimes get lucky and scout it with a lab as well.



Also is it just me or are the rocks at the top spot much father away from the hydro on the top spot? It feels like to the extent that I will maybe go first lab from bottom, but wont even attempt it from top.
