People play games and report them here.
All players will have x wins and y losses.
To calculate the score for each player the given formula will be used.

If you get a win against someone who gets a win you benefit the most.
If you get a loss against someone who wins a lot you benefit as much as getting a loss against someone who wins a lot.
The score is normalized to the number of games, however playing more games will put you at an advantage against others.
Playing against those who play many games is the best strategy to get the highest score.

Example:
Zock beats ZLO
ZLO beats BH
BH beats Zock
Nombringer beats Zock
BH beats Nombringer

Zock score: (0.5+1+0.5+0.5+0.5)/(sqrt(3))
(ZLO_loss+ZLO_win+BH_win+BH_win+Nombringer_win)/sqrt(number of games by Zock)

Interesting tourney! If I'm not mistaken, your formula can be simplified:

Code: Select all
score = (total wins of enemies + total games of enemies that you beat) / (4+2*sqrt(your total games))

;-)
