FAF Lobby

Postby Turnus » 07 Mar 2014, 00:52

Can the FAF lobby be installed and used on a computer without SUPCOM installations. In other words used like a chatroom? I have a total of 3 computers in my family, the computer I use to comfortably play supreme commander is not my computer that I own. So I would like to use the lobby on a computer without the game, to communicate with my online buddies while the gaming computer is in use by another. I figure there will be no issue as long as I don't try to start up a game without the games installed. Is that the case?

This should be in general discussions.
You can connect to the chat lobby via any irc client or by using mibbit (irc on a webpage).
The server name is "faforever.com", and the chat lobby is obviously "#aeolus"
