Port forwarding?

Postby Turnus » 23 Feb 2014, 21:53

I'm getting a messege that my computer cant bind to the required ports (something to that notion) and I have tried port forwarding, and allowing in my firewall settings but I cant seem to get it working. I was warned by the client that my games may suffer. If this is the case can i ask for a bit of help.

FAF is unable to bind to the port 12000 to 12011 on TCP.
Please check your firewall settings.
You may experience connections problems until it's fixed.

These are not related to port forwarding.

These are ports opened locally on your PC, and used locally by FA

Your router doesn't have anything to do with it.

Maybe another problem is taking these ports, or a previous instance of FAF that didn't freed them fast enough.

If you still have that message after a reboot, it's probably your firewall or your antivirus blocking them.
