CPU Benchmark problem

Postby Krajek » 02 Feb 2014, 19:48

Hello,
Today I noticed a problem with FAF Lobby benchmark. Usually my CPU Score was around 350-370. Sometimes I was getting score over 450.

But today after FAF downloaded some patch files I saw this.

My CPU score twice went up to 2k and 1.9k, but I didnt screenshot it.
Im useing Intel C2D 2.66 e6700.
Game is running smooth without any freezes or lagging even with alot units on map.

Any ideas or solution how to fix my issue? Thank you for help.

Hi All

I went away before Xmas and my cpu rating at the time was 370-380. I returned to FAF earlier this week and my cpu has been rated at 430-470 all week.

My rig is as follows -
AMD Athlon Dual Core 6000+ (3ghz)
4 gb ram
Geforce Nvidia 460 + 3gb ddr5
Windows Vista 32 bit

I should add the online games where they've let me in have had no slow down issues. They run now as they did before xmas when my cpu rating was 370-380. What is causing me to now have high cpu ratings?

Yeah, I've seen more people (including you Herbert) that got suddenly a very high CPU score.

The E6700 will definitely lag though in large games (Setons) though. Even my E8400 @3.6 is too slow for that; -2 at the end where something like a 2500(K) will not drop below zero.

Mine had jumped up to around 600 consistently, and now get ejected all the time. I have a i7-2630QM 8 core, no issues playing, but try to get anyone to listen before kicking....

That is no 8-core but a quad core CPU, but that should (mainly due to turbo cores) be fine to play some pretty heavy games. Unless it gets throttled because of temperature, you sure it's not overheating (meaning it will run slower)?
