Hello peoples! :)
I've been having this problem when trying to start a game or view replays that have ANY mods in them. I can only view FAF. If it's Nomads, BlackOps... ANYTHING, I keep getting this box popping up with the same error, "Update Failed." The one line I notice with all these errors is "ERROR: File not found on server : init_blackops.lua." or whatever file for that mod it's looking for. Been doing this for 2 days now with no luck. Any help, please?

Well, I tried clearing my game files. I tried to load a replay from the vault and this time I got some download bars. But it still did the same thing after those were done. I am at a loss here. :(

Check your firewall.

Already done that, but I did i again. I even uninstalled it... still the same thing. I even put myself on the DMZ on the router... nothing. Even bypassed the router totally by plugging into the modem... nothing. Windows Firewall is off, too. I'm almost tempted to do a fresh OS installation, but really REALLY don't want to do that. Only as a last resort. Still lost and scratching my head here. hehe

Well it's network related, can't do anything for you, sorry.

Well... It's not network related. I seemed to have stumbled onto a "solution."
I have never really played a game yet on here. I wanted to view the replay vault to get a feel of how to play against real people. I assumed that the FAF client would automatically install all that I needed for whatever I was doing at the time. It would download the map files just fine. But the mods were another story. I finally tried to make my own game for the first time. It downloaded all the files that I needed without a hitch AND ran the game. I found after I created a game in whatever mod type I clicked on, I could from then on view any replay of the same mod type. So either it was just a silly mistake on me thinking that the client would get the files for me, or is this a bug?

Without telling the mod and the replay, impossible to say.
