King of Open Palms

Postby Mad`Mozart » 26 Oct 2013, 00:33

This tournament is to hype up king of map challenges. It was a really great idea and we cannot just let it die.
Hopefully this will be the first king of map tourney in weekly series.

Rules:

1. Double Elemination, meaning the tourney will have winner and loser brackets.
It works the same as Single Elemination except when you lose, you fall into loser bracket and continue to play. The final match will be between winners of loser and winner brackets.
2. All rounds are played on Open Palms map.
3. Standard ladder game settings.
4. Draws are not tolerated. If your game ends in a draw, its up to me to decide if you should replay it or i declare a winner. It will depend if you make other people wait or not and how the game was progressing (if you force a draw when you were losing, you will get a loss).
5. Time limit is 45 minutes of real time. If your game didnt end in this time, decision will be made in favor of one player.

1st place: King of Open Palms
2nd place: Faction Face
3rd place: Faction Logo

Done my first self-directed tourney 8-) Still messed up a bit at the beginning but overall it went great. Thanks for playing everyone (especially BH for waiting, now you are a qualified waiter). Was great that we managed to get just enough players in 2 days for this one.

Winners:

1st place: BC_Blackheart
2nd place: RA_ZLO
3rd place: Horseman0fDeath aka Chevalier
