Unit data box is missing ingame

Hi there fellow FAF'ers,

I've got a litte problem.
This image should clear things up:


So as you should've seen: The little unit data box, usually located in the lower left corner, is missing. Although the unit, in this case the ACU, is selected.

What I've tried:
-Roll up in a ball and cry.
-Mess with all the ingame interface settings.
-Mess with ALT+Left/right/up/down.

The missing box IS appearing if I hover over the unit with the mousepointer. It just doesn't stay if I drag it somewhere else.

So what would be a possible solution? Any ideas?
Should I post logs, or aren't they nessecary?

Also I just freshly installed Win7 Professional, FAF, and FA.

Hey there, it's me again. I just stubled upon this in the forum.

Seems as if I had the GAZ_UI mod before reinstalling everything.
On the wiki page in the "Overview - Options" we can find this statement:
"- GUI: Single Unit Selected Info When you have only a single unit selected, that unit's mouse-over information will be displayed. "

Well I think this is it. I'll download the UI mod if I got time on my hands. But with very high probability this is the solution to my problem.
