Mouse bug with windows 8.1

hi,

I updated to windows 8.1 yesterday, and now the mouse cursor disappears when i move it when connected to a game and after when game is launched.

Launching faf in compatibility mode doesnt solve issue.

Any idea ?

If you google around, this looks like a Win 8.1 problem. You might try disabling mouse Pointer Trails, updating your display drivers to a version designed for Windows 8.1, or creating a new user profile in Windows. That third one is, believe it or not, a decent troubleshooting step for any number of Windows problems.

Also, this should probably be in the tech support forum.

gonna try that this evening, i googled it but didnt find anything worthy, i just updated mouse driver (razer imperator) and reinstalled game, same problem.

I try new catalyst and user profile...

So....

I needed to install the lastest catalyst drivers ver 13.9 , available since 09/2013, and to reopen ports in windows firewall.
Dunno why , but it works now.
(Btw amd servers europe are really slow, 2 hours to download 190 Mo of catalyst files, must be overwhelmed since new windows update)
