Secondary Adpator not enabling

As the tile says and also when I enable it the main monitors resolution goes down to what looks like 800x600 or something absurd?

Any one else experienced this? I have NVidia GPU, I know some of the AMD guys was having problems the other day?

FA doesn't like a few things for secondary monitors. SLI, dual card non sli, monitors with different resolutions, and certain cards FA just doesn't like.

The only way I have ever got dual monitors to work is when I only have 2 monitors hooked up to one GPU, and no other monitors and GPUs. In my current setup I get the same issue as you, but when I upgrade from my dual 460s I hope to get back to 2nd screen support.

Never seen that it doesn't listen to resolution settings, but I do have the trouble of crashes when I enable my portrait 20" as secondary to my 30" primary. (single card, but different resolutions and there is another GPU in the system driving a 3rd screen)

Yesterday tried double 1600x1200 on a different PC (the only card and monitors on that system) and magically it crashed after a few games in a way I've never seen before; the graphics card driver crashing every 10 seconds after that and giving my a yellow balloon saying it "recovered"... and it just happened to be a few minutes before the switch from summertime to wintertime

I forgot to give an update on this. It started working again. The only thing I change was to load SweetFX, maybe it's a directX issue. The ATI guys must try it and let us know.
