FA Crash on Startup

First of all, Hi!
Okay I read enough today to know that I am not the only one who had to deal with this and also no the only one to post about it.

The Issue is, FA wont start at all, I am trying to play the Steam Version and It fails every time I try to launch it.
SC does get to the main menu, haven't tried to play it tough.

The thing I tried:
Launch From Folder (not via Steam) - FAILED
Launch as an Administrator (combined Cmp. of XP SP2, XP SP3 and non Cmp.) - FAILED
Disable Steam Overlay (combined with above and without) - FAILED
Reinstall DirectX - FAILED
Reinstall C++ Redist. (2005) - FAILED
Create a Lobby via FAF - PARTIAL SUCCESS

So any ideas?

FAF is all fine and dandy.

Also Tried a Pirated Version of the game, all fine and dandy.

Fixed it with a cracked EXE...
