lobby problem

often the new lobby fails once i connect to a game.

the connection the players seems to work well..
the problem is that i cannot pick a spot and the lobby
is half way there.

This all started happening since 0.8.81... seems something is
broken !?

ok, so i read game.log... and when i try "factions background" it works.
The problem I reported happened with "map preview".

Thanks. This has been reported several times, but without any log. Now we can fix it :)

I've started getting the same problem now too :(

The problem seems to be here:

I get this error when the lobby doesn't load, but if I host a game myself everything loads fine and I don't get that error.

No. Post logs. (the server cannot mess with the lobby code. In doubt, check if others game are hosted. If so, it's clearly not the server).

Strange how it just fixed itself though, maybe a new lobby update was released?

Nope.
Only way to be sure what is a problem is to check the logs.
Anything else is pure speculation.
