Laggy Mouse only in FAF

Hi guys, not really sure what to do about this one...

My mouse often lags extremely badly but only in FAF, if I minimise it then it works fine in the desktop and it doesn't lag in any other program or game. The game itself isn't lagging, just my mouse. I have tried a different mouse with the same results. It is jumpy and jerks across the screen at times in FAF

Not sure if it is anything you guys can help me with but I thought I'd ask anyway. Cheers :D

Maybe it happens when the lobby is downloading/generating a new map preview?

Is it when FA is started?

Or is it a constant lag?

It is usually in the first ten minutes of a game. It is also intermittent
