Weird connection problems

OK. So I can't connect to anyone; I can only connect to hosts, I cant connect to other people in the game, I can see them, faction, colour etc. But they can't see me ready up, and I can't see them change a status, ready, colour etc. this started after an update, I believe; but I've never really had any connection problems, so I'd just like some enlightenment on the situation.

Try to open the port 6112 in your router and have a look at your software firewall if you have one.

It was my firewall, since there was an new AVG update which screwed everything up. I completely forgot about the firewall, though, didn't even think to check it. Anyway thanks for the help, a quick and simple reply that helped me out . Nice maps btw.
