blackscreen while hosting

I dont really know why this bug appeard and when.
I already had it but it just suddenly disappeard sometimes.
whenever i host a game, nothing happens for about 5-10 seconds whats longer than usal. then a black window opens but instead of a connection message i just see my ingame mouse and a blackscreen.
when i press alt+f4 the ingame window pops up if i want to leave so it seems like the game is not just crashed.
if you need some logs tell me. Since it doesnt seem to be a connection problem i wont post them right now.
and as said, the bug already disappeard for a time for no reason. now its back for apparently no reason

i had those too before i started using window mode. its much better, because you can swap
between applications quickly and you never miss a windows update reboot message.

hm ill try that.
and btw it has changed again. now i get constantly connecting...
but then nothing happens. i tried 1-2 minutes connecting now and i dont think it would work after that

maybe windowed mode helped the original error but now it just keeps saying what i said before

Hi,

I had the same issue. But when I changed the port forward triggering settings on my router and on faf, it worked again.

hm ill have to ask someone later how to do that. i am not familiar with ports and that stuff at all.
btw now theres a different problem again.
the game just has a blackscreen. task mngr says its fine and for some reason the icon on the task bar is replaced by another one, that has a really low resolution and stronger yellow color.

What mods are you using ?

Or do you use a map that has special script ?

You have indeed tons of errors in your logs, but I'm 100% sure it's not due to FAF itself.

Looking more closely at the logs, it's looks like the game try to start without going through the lobby.

Any idea what cause that ?

Not sure if this helps - but whenever I get the blackscreen or then endless connecting I also get the proxy message. I just never report becasue I assume it hangs on some connection problem.
