severe FAF LObby problems

HI I have some serious problems.

I cant start the faf lobby after the last patch. Internet and pc are working very fine. I deleted and reinstalled faf and havent installed any mods or whatsoever lately.

I start FAF instead of showing me the news the colours turns bright greyer (but still faf) and he calculates himself to death. all ports are opended as in the wiki. Cant help me any further. yesaterday the 5000th attempt worked.

PLS HELP ME ! I ONLY CAN PLAY ON THE WEEKENDS NIGHTS WHEN MY DAMN WIFE IS SLEEPING. THX.

What do you call "last patch" ?

As nobody else reported the issue, I can only assume it's something on your side.

Hi Zep.

Thx for the quick answer. The last patch for me is the last time the programm has installed an update.

Ever since that I have that problem.

Thing is I have absolutely no problems playing Battlefield 3, Farcry 3, Hitman Absolution or any other new high class graphics game on the highest resolution. Also installed the latest drivers and the problem is still there. Also I have no problems with the Forged Alliance game itself. Just with the lobby. Pls help me that I can solve this out.

We do lobby updates, featured mods updates, FA updates, FA lobby updates,....

Dear Zap,

now I understand what you meant. The problem first occured if my memory dont lie after Lobby 0.8.30.

Hope you can help me and I have given you the informations you need for doing so. Thx again for ya help.

PS: After endless attempts I could log in again, once. and in the chat window (aelous) there was this info.: [ping: None->26FA297E]26FA297E

PSPS: I pinged FAF on dos (cmd) and it worked fine

Check firewall, peerblock, ... Something may mess with the connection to the server.

I dont have peerblock but have checked the windows firewall and have downloaded comodo firewall as an option. even with firewall completely he looses the connection to port 6112. I have completely done the router configuration as per our wiki.

Didnt had the problems prior to the last faf lobby (mentioned above) version.

Do you have any Idea what I can do to solve this one ? I have tried firewall and antivir completely off and it didnt worked sadly.

Pls help me that I can play again.

There is absolutely no change to how FA/FAF connect done for almost 2 years, it's unlikely that the last patch broke anything in that matter.

Ok can you give me other tipps what to do besides the above mentioned.
Do you have further ideas how to solve this ? (did the last color=1 thing already with the game prefs data).

Any further hint for me Zep ? Would be great if you have something for me.

Accordingly to your log, your CG driver fails for some reason. I would start removing all your mods and maps for a start.
