Sound issue

I have this problem today with sound in FA.

I can hear everything once, but then it will stop.
For example the first time I select my ACU there will be the standard sound, but never again for the rest of the game.
Its the same for all other sounds, I can hear the first attack ping, but none of the following attack pings.
Never run into anything like this before.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, they all talk about the "set the speakers to stereo solution". There was a thread about a similar problem, but its unresolved.

I have same problem, its the 2nd time I got this problem, the first time problem dissapeared magically. Its very annoying, cant hear "Commander under attack", nuke warning, and some other sounds. In the first seconds (2-3 s) I can hear everything. Its not anything related to volume, i can hear musics (sometimes its on, sometimes its not) and some sounds. Im playing on laptop.

Windows 8, and i cant find my sound card, anyway, its fixed again. It lasted for 2 weeks and now its gone...
