FAF Installer failure: Could Not Locate Cabinet in Stream

I have the Steam version, I have the installer, as you can see in the screenshot, I even tried putting the installer in the folder in addition to directing the install path to the correct place. I also tried it when the game was installed on the C drive, had the same error. I haven't seen anyone else with this kind of error, instead the vast majority of google results for "could not locate cabinet in stream" were general MSI errors.

This is indeed MSI related, can't really help you with that.

You probably will find a solution with google, or if someone else here had the problem before...
