game lobby crashing when i host.

I have forwarded ports as per wiki, even opened them in my firewall which is shutdown anyhow.....tried upnp.......from day one on windows seven i have crashed roughly 50 percent of the time when hosting.....will there ever be a fix for this? no, its not my connection.
