faforever.exe connection details

Hello, there are some posts about this, but I have the screen, so is this a bug, is there any workarround ?

I can ping those ip that faforever.exe is trying to connect!

I too had this problem for days, I thought the server was just down. Just run it in administrator. If that doesn't work, here was my exact fix:

My exact fix was:
(windows 7)
-uninstall/reinstall FAF
-Turn off firewall
-run FAF in administrator

I think all you need to do is run it in administrator mode though. To do this, right-click the Forged Alliance Forever icon and select "run as administrator". Depending on your security settings, you will likely have to click "yes" in a dialogue box to confirm.

The server is actually down currently off and on. Not sure what the issue is, but ZeP is asleep at this hour so might be Euro morning before it is back at 100%

I understand but I was getting this message regardless of whether it was up or down. As soon as I run as admin it allowed me on

Ya, I can confirm that it is down right now. Like BRINK said, it's night for Ze_Pilot right now, so we probably won't see this fixed for a little while. I really hope there wasn't another hardware failure.
