Connection Issues

I have a lot of freezes whilst trying to run the lobby. Every time it reaches the What's New screen it freezes. Sometimes I seem to be able to trick it into working, but I have absolutely no idea how I do it. I also have a lot of problems connecting to the website, so I have to view it through a web proxy, so it'll take me some time to upload the log. It seems to me that the connection is being rejected at one end or the other.

I saw that post - it doesn't help me solve the problem, and I think it was diagnosed entirely wrong. The initial request timed out will happen to every website or address. A lot of ISPs will reject ICMP entirely, it shouldn't interfere with a typical connection.

Seems that a lot of people have problems with your provider. (ie. UKWolfy)
You should start there..
