They generally don't argue. They join the next regular setons game. And while you are trying to explain something they tell you to x'up.

rules are rules. If a player put a stealth boat together with t3 subs. The other player could retaliate by putting sera/aeon t2 flak along with their cybran navy. Then the other team would retaliate by making shields for water as cybran.

The reason for these rules is to keep faction diversity in navy. It makes for games that are much more enjoyable. If you allow mixing you will get naval battles that are exactly the same every game and setons players really like diversity from game to game.
