WWPC Setons Division

Following the WWPC 1v1 and WWPC 2v2 weekly tourneys we would like to start the Setons division

Rules particular to the Setons division:

Lottery -> 1 Setons game to determine the challenger team -> 1 championship game

Teams:

Each team can have up to 7 players, to be announced on the forums during the sign up week.
Need at least 4 to be considered in the lottery.

Time of play:

Sign up during the week. Sometime Thursday the lottery will be announced and the two chosen teams will

have until Saturday 8 pm UTC (British time) to play their game. If the game isn't played then another

team that didn't win the lottry can jump in.

The final can be played at any time until the end of Sunday.(a different time later in the week can be

arranged if the champion agrees)

Movement of players between teams:

1. Once you pick a team for a week (by signing up on the forums), you can't choose a different team.
2. If you are part of the championship team, you can't choose a new team to play on
3. If you didn't win the championship during a week you can join any team during the following week.
4. If a team has joined the tourney with 4 players, they can pick up three more players later in the

week, these pickups must be posted on the forum to be valid.
6. No more than 7 players can be on a team during a week.
7. The championship team can switch two players per week. (this doesn't mean that if you didn't change

your team for four weeks in a row you can switch the entire team)

General Rules:

Full share
No restrictions on tree harvesting
No restrictions on naval mixing
If a player drops the opposite team doesn't have to offer a reset, unless they want to.
N vs S placement will be decided during the lottery
In the championship game, the champions decide if they want to pick N or S

"no tree restrictions"... do u realize the people interested by this tournament have to train with using recaim bug... u should better not allow using it. I know some people who will use it even if other team doesnt want to ;().

I have yet to see a rule that restricts the reclaim "bug" (or feature) without creating all kinds of problems as people start to push the rules.
The easiest thing to do is to allow it.

Are you suggesting we disallow patrolling tanks in the trees to anticipate drops?
Do we not allow people to spread out their engineers through the forest and on their way breaking up trees?

The best thing to do is to make everyone aware, that will make the gameplay the most even.

Good question. There will be no restrictions on any kind of mixing.

In one hand one guy who always denigrated seton people.. in other hand one guy who seems not to know anything about how seton is played at good level ... in conclusion there will be gentlemen teams who will decide to allow it or not... and the others ). Thx for no constructive mind both of u ^^.

Yes. Important to point out. If two teams want to agree on a set of rules before hand, they can definitely do it, but these will not be dictated by the tourney.
