3596 patching, tried everything...

3596 patching, tried everything...

The patcher provided by FAF fails to find version 3596. (a problem many have encountered) My game IS 1.5.3596, it says so in-game. I do have a pirated version though, could this be the issue? If so I'll just buy it through Steam... Multiplayer is totally worth it. But is there a way to patch a pirated version?

thats is because modified EXE file in pirate version
http://www.cncfile.ru/supreme/fa_original_exe.zip
replace your exe file with this one (in bin folder)
after you pach to 3599/3603 you will not need CD to launch FA, so not need of pirate stuff

Downloaded and replaced ForgedAlliance.exe but it still will not patch?
