Lagging

I've just played my 3rd custom game and it is the third time I everyone but me has complained about lag... I can only conclude I am the problem... but why?!

I assume it is because I'm playing from Australia and most other people are from Europe when I play.

When I am in the game lobby, I notice everyone has a ping of around 400ms... with the exception of another Australian, who's ping was 70ms... Is this normal. Is that 400ms ping what people are complaining about?

On a related note, how do I view ping while in game?

400ping is related to your location, but a stable 400 ping should not be a problem only if its spiking
does it really lag, or is the game just slow?

I don't notice any lag... but its the first thing everyone else says... Its probably a bit slower then what others are use to...?

Good to know a stable 400ms ping is no big deal. I'll check out F11 next time I play ladder.

and have an eye on the clock that is running in the conner, see if it runs in real time (more or less)

The sim speed is displayed next to the clock.

Network lag (due to ping, packet loss or lack of bandwidth) result in shuttering.
Sim lag result in a constant slowdown.
