How to save replay in Steam FA skirmish game?

I can save games but my 'Save Replay' button is greyed out and I am not able to save replays in skirmish games. How do I save the replay? Thanks.

you last game will always automaticly be saved in something like Documents/My Games/GPG/replays
the save replay button should not be grey out, you normally can save replays when you are in the score screen after a game

I already checked. It is not in the default folders AND the replay button is greyed out.

I don't know if this is related but when I click on the Steam icon on my desktop it also asks me if I want to install the game. I do not. The game is already installed in d:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. I created a custom deskto shortcut to it:

"D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\bin\SupremeCommander.exe" /showlog /windowed 1440 900 /EnableDiskWatch /faction 1 /nofog /log d:\SteamLog.txt

The shortcut works.

I found out why I couldn't view a replay. There is no replay if you play a saved game (by loading it).

Still unresolved: why does Steam want me to install the game again?

i can tell you this: steam tends to be a turkey
if steam wants you to reinstall you probably do not have a choice
