Someone Can Purposly Freeze a Game

I was in a phantom-x game where the phantom acted obvious, broke all the alliances, and then got mad that everyone attacked him.
He proceeded to say it wasn't fair and he would freeze the game so we cant finish it..

and a few seconds later it froze, unfreezing for about a second every min or so, everyone disconnected eventually.

Some suggested that the player responsible; "BrickonKeyboard", was reconnecting momentarily to avoid the eject screen but I don't know of course.

The replay number is 635222 and it ended 15-20 min before this message was posted, it was reported by several of the players in the chat room...


I don't think its good if a player can just crash games whenever they aren't going well for him/her. Hope this gets looked into.

You should have reported it to the moderator group or a mod in the lobby in PM. They can kick him to unfreeze your game.

Well, I guess he earnt some cooldown time, a ban for 2 weeks.

People can do that by turning on file sharing programs too, to lag the game all to hell. I don't play with Megatron219 cause of it--he lags in normal play too, where he's not throwing a fit after losing to something he claims to be OP, despite being an unranked game that didn't matter (his reasoning for stacking his team too).

I can confirm that Brick purposefully hung up the game because he lost after we ganged up on him because he was an obvious phantom. It was very effective as he would lag out long enough to stop everything but give us 1 second then do it again to prevent the kick screen
