Problems with Creating New Account

Hi,

I tried to get two of my friends to join FAF however they had issues with creating a new account. The following error message was displayed:

The account could not be created as the login or email is currently being used ( or something along those lines)

No matter what email or username they put in (even something ridiculously long) will produce the same message.

The usernames of the two trying to make an account are:

Smokey
Narie

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about OP, sorry. For robiin/jerem it may be because the faf server has been unreachable a few times today, maybe keep trying.

Same problem here. Stay in "log in" for hours. I also got the "The account could not be created as the login or email is currently being used" but in fact the account is actually created, just ignore this message ( i noticed that after doing the password recovery).

If the server said that the email is already in use, it's really is. It's not a random message

My friend was also trying to create a new account but could not, and I tried to create a second with a brand new email and it too, would not.

"Sorry, this login is not available, or the email address was already used."

It was most certainly not a used email or username.
Please let us know when you could have this fixed, as it is somewhat.. discouraging for new members.
