new steam copy cant make 2nd account

Hi i have been useing a old genuine box copy of Forged Aliance has a cd key and now my son wants to play online as well we have bought a new game from steam but can only log in under my account it looks like the new steam game is locked to my old cd key and steam dont give me a new cd key with steam version of game.

can anyone help

i just throw into the air that you can play online on an endless number of PCs just with one code (as long as you do not use steam ofc, but who the * uses steam for FA^^)

It now after alot of time looks like i have made another acount but it says "unique id found for another user.multiple accounts are not allowed. I sure hope that does not mean i have wasted my money buying a second game so we can both play online.

you defenitly wasted it cause you can play with one anyway, you can only have one account per PC

Hi thxs but we have a new pc for christmas so now have 2 in the house and can,t get both pcs online at the same time
1 pc for him and my own 1

ok i understand but i have tried my account on his pc and that worked so my account works on his and mine but how do i now get my account of his pc and get his account only on it.

the account is locks the PC of it's last use

means: login with your account on your PC and you will be able to create a new one on his

I don't know if this additional information is needed or correct, but if you had problems with that what sheppard said - you need to switch of "automatic login" in the lobby on your 1st pc -> after this login again through the login screen. Than it should register your own account again to your pc.

is this correct?

i dont see why it should nto work on autologin but if you say it might be
