Hi i wanted to report a very big bug. I was playing recently a Seton game. there it happened in the late game that my aeon sniper bots had t2 cruisers in range but they did not react. I ve tried in sandbox several things and found out that this is a bug.
The units which have this Bug known:
-Spearhead UEF t3 MML
-Sprite Striker AEON t3 Sniper Bot
-Usha-Ah SERAPHIM t3 Sniper Bot

Effekt:
Some Unit Targets are simply ignored and if they are once ignored they will be ignored till either they are hitting the attacking unit and the unit will automatically start to response fire again on this target, or till you are giving direct attack command. No other order like attack behind them or patrol or just standing arround in range will bring them back to firing. And all the units of the same kind like snipers will ignore this targets at once.

In one of my tests i ve realized that all those units mentioned above at once had the same bug. Means that i ve cheated all at once, sniper bots and t3 mml launchers and they all ignored the same targets. in my last test replay i could not prove this again.

files added are:
-Setons replay in middle under my base will happen late in game
-Sandbox game

p.s. Voodoo should know this bug as well ive seen in in very huge dimensions with t3 mml recently and a lot more good players know this bug as well.

I tested again and found out that it seems to be connected to the position of the target here in this replay you can see that 1 of them still goes on shooting meanwhile all others ignore the target. after moving them all to this direction they start again to attack. But this does not mean it is no bug. The position before was already in range and no walls or hills between the snipers and the target.

--> btw the fire modus did not change in all those replays! it was always as usual.

I watched your first replay, but i can't see what you mean. Your bots killing the briks.
The 2. replay is too long and the 3. replay has an invalide format.

I tested the units you posted, it's working fine for me.
I think the problem is when you have like 20 sniper bots in a setons game with like 5000 units.
The units won't react in real time.

In the first replay the brick 3rd top left is ignored, the mml are killing it. you can see when you click on me that it is in range but nobody is shooting automatically. the last replay was playing in 3620 format but offline. you have to copy it in your local folder where last replay is still saved and start the game with last faf version. then you can start it inside supcom in extras. I am sorry for this :P

ant btw you have seen this bug often enough yourself, mml t3 uef you had lots of them in a ranked game lately and they didnt shoot depite the fact that a lot of targets in range have been vivisble on radar map looked a bit like isis but very small. plz post this 1v1 replay here it is not more than 1 week old.

I can confirm this bug, it also affects Strategic sub, and probably other units. It seems to be related to elevation of the map, as if the units would not fire because there is a hilll in front (even if some have a high trajectory and would hit no matter what).

Someone has an idea how to fix this?

Units care if there are hills in front of them? I thought they just fired. I often see ACU's and tanks firing into hills. Is there some targeting parameter on the ACU or Striker that the snipers/strat sub don't (or vice versa)?
