Blackheart has challenged me to a $1000 BO7 on The Dark Heart in which I am only allowed to play UEF. I am not interested in wagering $1000 as Blackheart is quite similar to me in skill, if not better, and I am given a faction restriction, but I will wager $50 on this match. If Blackheart finds these stakes acceptable, I will work out a time to play sometime within the next few weeks. I need some time to unrust and prepare.

I'll play a BO7 against someone, willing to put some $ in too. There is only a couple active people around my rating, hopefully someone will bite. If not i'd still play against someone higher ranked, but maybe for less money.

I'm fairly busy over the next couple weeks anyway so that gives me time to find someone.

JaggedAppliance and ThomasHiatt will be playing a BO7 using the ladder pool in a few weeks for a $120 pool! $50 per player and I’ll put $20 in from FAF.

I’ll update this post if any hard date gets set.

JaggedAppliance and I (deGRONDateNoob) have decided to play a BO7 next wednesday, 12-8-2020, with no wager.
The games will start 7:30pm GMT+2 and will be played on the following maps, in order:
- Williamson's Bridge
- The Dark Heart FAF version
- Osiris
- Esgaroth's Ruins
- Souvenir
- Point of Reach
- Regor VI Highlands

If we don't manage to finish all the games before it gets too late, we will resume the day after

can I suggest a previous tourney rule:
at the start, use random.org to select Player1, Player1 must choose a faction in the 1st match and lock it, after Player1 chooses the faction, Player2 must choose a different faction. In the next match roles switch.

This was used in the Zed's are dead tourney(Zock & Zlo) , there was also a secret map selection that consisted in player votes and vetos, you can check the forum post if you want to take a look.

We chose the maps by vetoing maps from the ladder pool one by one. Then we realised that loki had imbalanced reclaim so we replaced it with syrtis. We each chose maps in turns to decide the order of play. The player that chose the map also got second choice of faction on the map(in hindsight this is unlikely to be the best system.)
