Blitz Tournament Series

This will be a series of 4 blitz tournaments based on a point system. Players earn points based on their placement in each tourney. The final rankings will be based on the total amount of points each player has earned throughout the tourneys.

Please do not use this thread to sign up for one of the tourneys. They will have their own threads were you can do so.

Some General Tournament Info And Rules
- There is no minimum rating required to participate in this tourney.
- A Bo1 match will be played if multiple players end up contesting the top 3 placement in the final rankings.
- The current prize pool has been sponsored by FAF which means the tournament will also follow the standard FAF tournament rules.
- The maps will be revealed 3-5 days before each tourney starts. You can expect the lower bracket to have 5km and 10km maps and the upper bracket to have 10km and 20km maps.
- The TD for each tourney will be either me, ftx or Hybrid.

- This will be a seeded tournament based on ladder rating.
- Send me a pm if you are planning to stream and/or cast so i can add you to the list.
- If anyone is willing to add to the prize pool he/she can contact FtxCommando for that.

Tournament Format
This tournament will be in double elimination format with every match being a Bo1.

Prize Pool
1st place - $50 &
2nd place - $25 & Faction Face ava
3rd place - $15 & Faction Logo ava

Final point rankings:



Because there was a tie for first place Fremy_Speeddraw and Tagada played a Bo1 on Monster Girl Arena, which Fremy_Speeddraw won. This makes the final rankings as followed:

1st place - Fremy_Speeddraw
2nd place - Tagada
3rd place - Turinturambar

The prize money and avatars can be collected by contacting Ftx. Please make sure to do this.

Thanks to everyone for participating in the tourney. It wasn't the smoothest but i think it went pretty well overall. I hope everyone liked this new (to faf) tourney format. There might be more of these coming in the future. Maybe it can be hosted twice a year, preferably when there isn't a faf ladder league happening, but i haven't put too much thought into it yet, so the future will tell i guess. If anyone has any suggestions and/or improvements to the format please leave a comment.
