April Ladder Arena (4/8 - 4/22)

The two highest ranked players on ladder to sign up and win at least 10 ladder games this month will qualify for a Bo7 against each other.
In order to qualify, players must win at least 10 ladder games during the period of 4/8 (from 00:00 GMT) to 4/22 (00:00 GMT). Only four wins against a given player will count towards a competitor's total. For example, if you win 15 games against Player X and 3 games against Player Y, you will only have won 7 out of the 10 games required for qualification. Games won within first two minutes will NOT count towards the qualification requisite. However, all rating/rank gained from all games will count (suspected manipulation will be investigated and may result in ban from Arena). You may sign up any time during the Arena period, up until 3/23. Qualification will be based on the competitor's ladder rank AFTER the period ends.
Congrats to Turinturambar and Blodir for placing top 2 yet again! Bo7 to be played by May 6th.
Winner gets Arena title and 100 USD.

Congrats to Blodir and Turinturambar for winning the top two spots for the March Ladder Arena! Of special note: during the last couple of weeks, Blodir has managed to catapult to a rating of 2300, placing him 2nd in the ladder leaderboards! Turin, finishing just behind Blodir with a rating of 2250, returns this month to play once more in the bo7! Will Turinturambar win yet another Ladder Arena, or will Blodir continue his rampage to the top and take the crown?
The Bo7 can be played in the week or two following the qualification period. Bo7 will be played on maps chosen by the players (must be from the current or last ladder pool; lower rated player chooses first map and then each subsequent map will be chosen by the loser of the last game played. A map cannot be chosen again once played).
Winner of the Bo7 will win 100 USD, 2nd prize is 50 USD. Payouts will be on Matcherino, except special cases for which alternative methods may be discussed.

Congrats to Turinturambar (2270) and JaggedAppliance (2122), who have proven themselves to be the most dominant two players on ladder*.
Now the question is: which of the two is the TRUE #1? While JaggedAppliance is lower-rated, he has recently proven to have a distinct advantage against Turinturambar, achieving 4 wins to 2 losses against him in their last 7 encounters! On the other hand, Turinturambar has consistently won game after game at the top levels of ladder, going 11-2 on ladder since Feb 17th!
In addition to proving their top ladder player status to all of FAF, the champion will collect a 100$ prize.
Bo7 rules:
-Games must be played by March 10th
-Lower rated player (JaggedAppliance) will choose first map from any map from a previous or current ladder pool. Following maps will be chosen by loser of previous game.
-Draws must be replayed on same map.
-Disconnects before 2 minutes can be replayed. Disconnects following 2 minutes in-game time are automatic forfeit for disconnecting player
-Players must report their wins to me asap.
