Sure, but at the time of posting it was the latest post in both this thread and in the entire tournament subforum.
While I have employed and can possibly employ a countdown timer in the future, your inability to check the thread for a tournament you're participating in - even for posts made by the director himself - is not my problem.

even though on page one it is mentioned that he updated the OP to include stuff...

The deadline is not the rules or the prizes, the rules are in the spoiler tag titled restrictions; wherein the deadline is not mentioned.

A logical man will check the thread.

My stance on this will not change. It's expected of contestant/contestant aspirants to monitor the tournament thread for updates leading up to the date, and the same applies here. there is nothing more I can tell you.

This post announces the winners of the contest.
Originally I planned to make a large write up and explain my choices but i'm busy, and to let people get their grubby hands on the maps I decided to shortlist the winners and put them here.

I've posted my top 5, of which the top 3 won avatars, and the recipient of the Winner of Hearts, I kept the others out of placements in order to not crush anyone's hopes too bad, but if you would like to hear my reasoning on either A: why you were placed where you were, as well as B: where you were placed if you were not in the Top 5, ask here. By doing so however you open yourself up to having the full weight of my criticisms brought upon you. You have been warned.

I now open the thread up to both discussions on maps posted here (if you have anything to give to these authors) and your thoughts on the next tourney. I'm asking what size, a longer deadline? etc.
