There is no cut off anymore. People can continue to sign up and alter their teams until the tourney starts.

Could you explain this portion of the rules in more detail please? Particularly what mods are allowed because surely almost every single mod is gameplay-changing.

Qualifier Round Maps, Mods, and Settings:

Maps will be announced the weekend before the tournament so that participants can practice and be ready for the day-of. The tournament will use the standard FaF build for its entire length; however, for this tournament the teams may choose their starting positions, mods (except gameplay-changing ones like HardFFA where ACUs spawn in a transport), map settings if an Adaptive one is chosen, and more. The start positions need to be mirrored and both teams must agree. If there are any disputes about any settings or it takes longer than 10 minutes to set-up, stock settings will be forced. Because of this, each game will be unique from one another and add some variety to the mix.

These rules no longer apply since that was for the qualifications round. Due to the lack in interest I'll be simplifying the rules so it's standard in the official FAF balance, start pos of the chosen maps, etc.

The only rule I am keeping in place is the rating total of the team at time of sign up. This won't allow people to drop between now and their signup, but it will make things easier.

Stay tuned... Tourney is 4 weekends away and I assure you nothing is going to make anything confusing.

This will be a straightforward, play your games like it's a pick-up team game, and win.

I think its a bit disapointing how a player comes forward, takes the time to make a tourney happen, and even puts his hand in his wallet offering his own money to the community with some nice new ideas. Players respond by not signing up, complaining and whining.

Tourneys are where its at, its where skill is measured, arch-enemies meet, points are proven and revenge is sweet. I hope this tourney gets the attention it deserves
