Yeah that's true, Mephi. I fully anticipate some screwball behavior but am just trying to set the tone of the event.
1v1 is getting a nice host by legend of stars guy so after that maybe I'll do a late winter one.

I mean generally you'd be worried of people over 1.8k+ dropping rating for a tourney with this rating cap. With the activity of 1.8k players in global games (outside of setons games), I dont really think anyone would even be able to drop more than 100 pts even if they tried.

Update:
1) Any and all teams that wish to be considered for "invitation" need to submit by the deadline this up and coming Friday. After that you will need to play 1 of 2 qualifiers to get into the tournament.
2) The actual tournament is to take place mid-August before school begins again. This has been decided as the best time as it is too difficult to make schedules work for vacation time and school prep.
3) NO ONE is going to be invited or given notice about it until this Friday so please be patient on this.
4) Qualifier 2/3 will only be held if enough teams show interest or is needed.
5) A maximum of 10-12 teams will be allowed into the tourney.
UPDATE UPDATE:
1) Qualifier Tourney will start at GMT 13:00 this Sat
2) It will be Double Elimination if 8+ teams or Swiss otherwise.
3) It will be single-elimination, all matches , no BO3s or anything for qualifier. The actual tourney will have more interesting deals to follow
