Rules:
-u1200 ladder rating
-Players who get caught of artificially lowering their rating will be banned from this and all future tournaments
-Double Elimination (or swiss, up to change)
-Default settings
-If a disconnect results in a loss or a rematch will be decided by the tournament director
-A draw results in a rematch, but without a time limit increase.
-If a match doesn't start within 15 minutes of a T.D announcing the round starting the T.D may disqualify any players causing delay
-You must have played atleast 10 ladder games within the last month to participate, we will be checking.

Limits: From time that the map is called out
5x5: 50 minutes
10x10: 110 minutes
20x20: 170 minutes

1st place: Tournament winner avatar + Zock lesson
2nd place: A face of faction avatar of your choice
3rd place: A faction logo avatar of your choice

How to play?
Sign up in the forums post give your FAF name if your forum name is different.
In a timespan of 10 minutes before and after the start time of the tournament, you will get automatically moved to a new chat channel in FAF.
Click on the tournament tab to speed it up. If it doesn't work, contact the tournament director so he can move you manually.
If you are not in the channel, you won't be able to play the tournament!

kay, quick question. my ladder rank is currently a couple of points above the maximum. if i whore ladder a ton, so that the random variation in my score takes me below 1200 at some point, does that count as 'artificially lowering [my] rating'? even if i try my hardest to win games and don't throw any?

If you play a ton of ladder and your rating drops that means it ought to be dropping. In no way does that constitute artificially lowering your rating. That would be 100% legitimate and I encourage you to do it. (You'll either be able to play the tourney or find out you're good enough to be above the rating limit)
