1v1 Trainer/Newbie Tournament

Start time: Saturday, January 2nd, 4 PM GMT

The players have to sign up on this thread stating their rating and their coaches.

Settings:

- 1 vs 1 tournament
- Rating ≤ 1300 for players
- Rating > 1300 for coaches
- Swiss
- No faction restrictions
- Default settings (non- ranked is allowed)
- Observers on
- Your higher rating will be the rating for this tourney, so if you are 1500 global but 1300 ladder, then you are 1500 in the terms of this tourney
- Maps are chosen from the map pool when the round starts
- Spots are from the Ladder

Rules:

- You need a rating below 1300 and a coach with a rating above 1300
- The coach is to join the game and immediately ctrl-k - the coaches will be in symmetrical spots.
- It's not allowed for the coach to watch the live replay
- Draw is a rematch
- Max time limits: IN-GAME TIME NOT REAL TIME
5x5: 45 minutes
10x10: 75 minutes
20x20: 105 minutes

Bermuda Locket

Avatars:

All who play all rounds will receive the tournament participant avatar

1. Place: Tournament winner
2. Place: Faction face
3. Place: Faction logo

Better to start normally and Ctrl-K ACU

anything else allows switching to enemy army view without anyone noticing

and it kills reclaim for both the same way

Zlo but then cheating has to be on and then its just as easy to switch perspectives. On top of both these arguments, maps such as Loki don't have spare starting positions for the trainer to spawn in as.

We already had one tourney like this so we know the only option to get rid of ACU ^^ Ctrl-K or cheating on

Well if we are going to have cheating on then the obs method works as well, just without the option to cheat.

I'm going to keep the switching perspectives option, cheating can mess some stuff up and ctrl-k is not really clean.

What is your definition of a newbie? In my opinion level 1300 is no newbie at all.
