E: Some players have been confused about this so I thought I will address it here: players are allowed to play on as many teams as they want
Overview
We present to you a brand new competition, a very different one from anything you have ever seen previously. The goal is to beat the map “survival_5thdimension”, following the rules listed below. The trick to it is that it’s borderline impossible.

It also got considerably harder because of some balance patches (attack move change and beetle change especially).
Rules
Game must be played on the map “survival_5thdimension” (not v2) with the following settings:
- Difficulty: 64 *tropa de elite
- Build time: 0:00
- Wave Frequency: 4:00 - Epic Wave
[EDIT] To clarify, you need to set the setting "allow obsolete maps" to be able to see the map in game options)
Game settings:
- Victory condition: Sandbox
- Fog of war: Explored
- Cheats: Disabled
- Game speed: Normal
- Pause: 3 (default)
- Unit cap: 1000 (default)
Players: 4 (less is not allowed since difficulty scales with the amount of players)
Allowed Sim mods (all others disallowed):
- No Friendly Fire V3
Disallowed “UI” mods, mentioned specifically because of arguable opinion about them in the community
- Washy ™ autoplay mods like auto-microed bombers
- Any sort of eco-manipulating mods
- Use your own judgement, just try to keep your game as clean as possible
Submissions
Replays can be submitted from 3rd of October (today) to the 17th of October. If nobody is able to complete the challenge, the prize goes to the longest surviving team. Therefore please report your time when posting the replay (else they might be ignored). Replays will be submitted by posting in this thread. Replays may be submitted any time during the 2 week period.

Once one team successfully completes the challenge (or last submission date is reached) the most creative strategy used to try and complete the challenge out of submitted replays will be rewarded with a “Winner of Hearts” - avatar. The winner will be decided by a “strawpoll” community poll.
