sera nuke and experimental nuke are immune to their nuke.

is it a bug ? if not, we should consider adding this feature to the unit data base.

Afaik there are almost no units that can damage themself with very few exeptions...
So it even looks to me that being able to damage yourself is some kund of feature that some units have (tml sml and few others)
Maybe they forgot to addd it to seraphim?

It kinda goes as personal opinion to have that feature or remove it
Also it does not affect balance, cause situations when it can be usefull is about 1/100 in games where yolo is build, so it is about 1/10000 at most...

I would remove that ability from regular nuke and leave it on yolo.

But yea it does not matter what will happen with feature, but having it written somewhere would be nice

Edit: whole self damage thing can be confusing so i make en example: t2 static arty if you place against a terrain hill/wall, will not damage yourself itself, but will damage nearby t2 arty, same with t4 nuke, if you have 2 of them together and one of them will nuke itself, other one will be destroyed

yes, there is very few occasion where this feature will get to be use : only if you need to nuke something in range of your sml (very very rare); or when a plane collide with the missile just after it been launched. (very rare too).

Oh, it's your own missile firing at it's own launcher? I just tested it and everything worked as intended... For obvious reasons :D

it's your own missile firing at it's own launcher?

yes the immunity is when the missile explose in range of the sml that lauchned it, and it's only for sera sml.

the missile would have kill the pgen that would have kill the sml anyways :p

not sure what navy unit you are talking about, but fatboy can't damage itself, can't even damage his own shield
i just tested uef cruiser and uef battleship, they can't damage themself, and i know from prevous experience that tempest can't damage himself too

i only know that cybran not t1 artillery produces weird sparks that do 1-5 damage to arty itself but no more, and this is still harmless

TML and other missile launchers (except nuke ofc) only do damage to itself when missile was reflected by loyalist, but in other cases - no damage

so for me only known units that do damage themself are nukes and missiles reflected by loyalists.... (have not tested tml acu/scu and billy)

i also know that bombers also don't damage themself, that is why when they hit air units they always survive
