Seems players can exploit this system and are actively doing it for rating and expense of players playing.
Examples...
Seems to be a pervasive belief from anybody over 1K that anybody below that is too noob to play against or challenge them.
Players are on occassion waiting until just the last moment before quitting before an impending kill shot is coming and pulling out, and what is the net result, nobody on the victory team gets a bump correct?
Players with higher rank say 1500 simply wont get in a team game with anybody in the 700-1000 range because if they happen to play sloppy and lose they fall pretty hard from that, and then their cohorts wont play with them if they fall to 1400 or 1300.
Anybody under 10 games seems to get boot after boot after boot from team games where they stand to learn and it is really really hard in the first 50 games to get a game going because nobody seems to think they have any ability.
Maybe these are just problems I see but I think this whole rating system is rather detrimental to the community and new players getting better. Educate me in how I am wrong. Why do players quit just before you kill them denying you their kill? I dont get it? Why do players leave games before they start because the ratings aren't right? I am not talking about stacked games which I also think are bullshit, I'm talking about the 1500 leaving because hes alone at 1500 playing with a mix of 700-1400?
Maybe my understanding of this rating system is flawed and I am no expert but are there any improvements under review?
